The company is a renowned bank with more than 200 years of history in Europe. The Singapore office has about 50 headcount are in expansion mode, with solid business directions and strategies in place.

about the job

You will proactively enhance the support framework across the bank’s operations in Singapore. In addition, you will deliver a range of operational and administrative activities to a high standard that satisfies stakeholder needs and clients while ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and controls. This role is part of the Chief Operating Office (COO) which supports all colleagues in delivering to client needs through the execution of strategic priorities. The role includes working with executives, committees and colleagues of various organisational levels to ensure an operating environment fit for purpose, aligned to business strategy that delivers appropriate solutions to regulatory change. You will also share responsibility for coordinating the assessment of the effectiveness of commercial banking markets governance and controls, with management, control and support functions.

about the manager / team

You will report to the Senior Manager of Business and Operations.

skills & experience required

You should possess a recognised University degree with minimum 3 years of business/administrative support experience, ideally within a corporate banking environment. This role is well-suited for somebody who is driven, well-organised, efficient, meticulous with a “can-do” attitude. The ideal incumbent must possess a proven track record in strong teamwork because you will be part of a larger team and will provide cover for other team members as and when required, as well as develop strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders through pen communication, partnership and consistent delivery, actively seeking feedback to raise self awareness and improve performance. The role requires excellent organisational skills, in order to effectively manage your own workload and co-ordinate activities.
