Join a leading global Insurance company with a strong brand name and culture. This well known Insurer is in the process of looking for another customer service officer to come onboard to assist with resolving enquiries for current and potential policy holders.

about the job
As part of the customer service team, you will be responsible for handling customer service enquires on behalf of the organisation. This is a customer service role and does not involve sales.

  • Responding to email and webchat enquires for new and existing policyholders
  • Providing customer service to walk in customers
  • Handle difficult questions or complaints from customers regarding insurance products, processes or outcomes on existing enquiries
  • Some basic cashier duties
  • Perform any related administrative duties on the company's database
  • Escalate enquiries to the appropriate person when required

skills and experience required

  • A minimum of two years customer service experience within Insurance (or similar)
  • Proficient in AS400 system
  • Experience dealing with complaints/difficult situations
  • Ideally certified in BCP, PGI or HI
  • Excellent presentation and verbal communication
