HR Manager, (A huge Retail brand from UK)

UP to $6500 + 20% on target bonus + other excellent benefits



about the company

Founded more than 200 years ago, our client has well positioned themselves in the UK market with huge chains of retail stores island wide. They are widely-known for their excellent branding and quality retail merchandise offered to their customers in the mass retail market. With the recent expansion into Asia, they are establishing themselves in the SG market and are opening up 3 Retail stores by the end of 2017. With their exciting business expansion plans, they are building their core pioneer corporate team and are now seeking for aspired and passionate HR professional to join them to grow the team in SG.



about the job

You will get the opportunity to handle HR projects, process and policies alignment, understanding the business needs and proposing new policies and introducing best practices within human resource management and grow together with the company. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions but not limiting to:

  • Managing of recruitment from selection to on board, work pass application for new joiners across the floor
  • Administering leave records and updating of HR database
  • Full cycle of on-boarding and of boarding
  • Payroll management
  • Business partner the stakeholders within the business, walk the retail floor to identify gaps for improvements
  • Organize company’s key events and activities and liaise with external vendors for requests and other matters when required



about the manager

Reporting to the Senior HR manager, you will undertake the role of a Junior HRBP working closely with the Senior HR Manager.



skills and experience required

You will be Degree or Diploma qualified in HRM or related field of studies and demonstrate at least 2 years of experience preferably in similar capacity. Relevant experience is new start ups is a definite advantage that would put you in a league above the rest. You should possess the experiences in the full spectrum of HR functions and willing to roll up your sleeves to work together with the corporate team to meet business objectives. You will be someone who is able to multi-task and work well across different business functions. Apart from the mentioned, you will also be someone who has a strong desire to be part of a new start up team in SG and passionate about human resource management. You will also be someone with excellent communication skills with the ability to relate to people of different levels. In return, the role could offer you with abundance of opportunities to grow and to be part of the pioneer team seeing to the success of the organization.
