about the job
They are seeking a detail orientated, cheerful and caring PA to support their Chairman. You will be managing his busy diary as well as taking minutes in regular meetings (2-3 per week on average). You will organise travel requirements and hotel accomodation both for the MD and other colleagues travelling from overseas and you'll deal with day to day emails and take appropriate action with any issues if the Chairman is out of the office. You must be someone who is willing to 'muck in' as there will be some Office Management responsibilities such as vendor management and you will be required to cover for the receptionist occasionally when she is absent. You will be responsible for collating information for the Chairman's presentations and you'll also be in charge of his expenses.
skills and experience required
You will have at least 5 years experience in a similar role within a creative background, ideally from a design agency. You will be a team player and have excellent communication skills. You will have experience taking minutes ideally, although this is not a must-have as long as you are willing to learn.
