Your daily job duties includes:

  • Lead program end to end including; analyzing present – state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation
  • Strong business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes
  • Organize workshops and deep-dives with SMEs and stakeholders, understand and document project scope
  • Organize workshops and deep-dives with external vendors, understand and document the capabilities of vendors, and assess suitability with SMEs/stakeholders to meet project scope and objectives
  • Creating and maintaining project timelines by developing project plans and specifications, estimating time requirements, establishing deadlines, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the project lifecycle,
  • Work closely with technology to ensure allocation prioritized work to development team according to plan
  • Lead the testing effort including articulating a test strategy, document with the team the various test cases and report on completion of testing. Lead review of test cases results as part of the UAT phase sign off.

skills and experience required

  • Possess at least 8 years in the finance services industry or similar with experience in managing global initiatives. The successful candidate should have strong understanding of the F&O industry and in particular the trade lifecycle. Senior level Futures industry experience working for a FCM, Exchange, Clearing House, Regulator or a management consultancy firm.
  • Demonstrates leadership excellence, having led large change programs before delivering quantifiable benefits. Proven track record in the delivery of major IT implementation projects and ability to manage multiple projects or work streams.
  • Proven analytic and problem solving skills with the ability to analyze and develop unique solutions to business issues. Ability to connect the dots and make sense of information across multiple data points upstream/downstream that many not be easily noticeable
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Ability to communicate effectively and influence decisions to achieve desired results
  • Experience in vendor management and the related skills of budget control and contract management
