about the job

As part of their risk and controls team, you can expect to help the organization govern and manage operational risk and control for various Global Banking and Markets in APAC. You will be responsible for driving and implementing risk frameworks and engaging with regional divisional Corporate, Audit, Ops Risk and Compliance that supports their Ops. You will be responsible for:

  • Execution of Risk activities and assessment
  • Documentation of business logic and coordinating testing plans for regulatory reporting
  • Resolve issues arising from quality assurance testing
  • Provide regulatory risk reporting subject matter expertise
  • Creating action plans in order to manage control gaps timely
  • Developing and producing metrics and analytics on regulatory reporting issues and testing results

about the manager / team

Reporting in to the team Manager, you will part of a large team that supports the organisation’s processes to align them with regulatory and compliance requirements.

skills and experience required

  • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Business, Banking or Finance
  • Good understanding of non-financial regulatory reporting frameworks and guidelines in Coporate and Investment Banking
  • At least 3 years of banking/finance related experience from Corporate/Investment Banking
  • Experience of analyzing and documenting business processes, and developing solutions
  • Experience of regulatory reporting processes – ideally involving testing or quality assurance of regulatory reports
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Experience of managing projects
  • Able to work with high level of accuracy and attention to details
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
