about the job
This is an exciting role for a driven and motivated Sales Leader looking to take the next step in your career with a company selling market leading Professional Audio Visual solutions into major corporates across Singapore. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will not only lead the sales efforts for major project wins, but will also have the opportunity to build your own sales team from the ground up.
- In the first 6 months on the job, it will be your key responsibility to act as individual sales lead for the company, focusing on only major “design and build” projects that are $200-500k and above
- Utilise existing networks and business development skills to open doors at high level across a range of industries to sniff and pitch for projects ranging from $500k and up
- Sell to direct end user clients at C-level
- Verify, finalise & approve the quotation in terms of Price to Market, Structure of Quotation, Design of Solution to ensure profitable return for the company.
- Hire, motivate & lead a Sales Team (of 2-3 sales executives) to achieve team sales target for major design and build project wins
- Ensure every sales person has the relevant skills to perform their role and mentor them to improve through on the job coaching and mentoring
- Monitor individual sales person’s opportunity and advise sales strategy to close the business

skills and experience required
- Diploma/Degree holder in Business / IT/ telecommunications / Engineering discipline or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of B2B Sales experience in System Integrator / Project sales to direct end users
- Minimum 2 years of experience in leading a sales team
- Sales hunter profile with ability to open doors at senior level
- Track record of annual team sales revenue of at least S$2million
- Track record of winning projects $250-500K SGD value and above
- Strategic mind, Highly motivated, self-driven and strong desire to be a successful leader
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Individual sales target / Number of projects bid and won
- Achievement of team sales target as agreed with Sales Director once team is on-board.
