The Randstad Employer Brand Award is presented each year to the most attractive employers in various countries across the globe. First launched in Belgium in 2000, the study has since grown to encompass 26 countries and 75% of the global economy.

The Randstad Employer Brand Research is the most representative and inclusive employer brand research in the world. It is the only study that captures the opinion of the general public between 18 and 65 and deals with the largest company employer brands in a country.

The Randstad Employer Brand Research provides unique labour market insights, bringing together:

  • 162,000 respondents globally
  • 5,500 companies
  • 26 countries

The research focuses on three main areas: overall brand awareness, absolute attractiveness and relative attractiveness. Every year, through an internet survey, respondents aged 18 to 65 who form a representative sample are asked to evaluate their countries' largest employers against 10 key factors. To ensure the research is objective, the companies are shortlisted based on size and winners are selected solely based on the appeal of their employer brands across the key factors.

The REBR 2017 survey was conducted with approximately 5,000 respondents locally. The results include the top 75 most attractive companies in Singapore, the most important factors among job seekers when choosing an employer, as well as the attractiveness of an industry sector compared to others.

 

how REBR is unique

Unlike other employer branding studies, the REBR is not based on company nominations or judging panels. It is an independently conducted research where the results are based solely on the opinions and votes of the local potential working demographic, giving a truly impartial view of the employee market and a true reflection of employer attractiveness for each of the participating countries’ largest employers.
