Our client is a Singapore based company. For their expanding business in the island and the region, they are looking to hire a HR Generalist who can lead a team of 3 HR executives and manage day to day HR functions.
Reporting to the group COO you will be responsible for full spectrum of HR functions. You will be leading a team of 3 HR executives and will be involved in HR operations. You are an experienced HR generalist with good hands on experience in handling day to day HR functions. You will be a strategic partner to senior managers and stake holders. You are well versed with business and have good understanding of converting business needs to HR plans. You have reviewed and amended company HR policies and procedures to make sure they are aligned with MOM and other statutory requirements. You will be fronting blue collar employees for any HR related matter which will include and will not be limited to MOM affairs, employee contract, regulatory and compliance related matters, legal affairs, work pass and other discipline related situations. In this role, you will be in charge for running payroll for executive employees.
Skills and experience:
You have 6 years of HR experience doing full spectrum of HR function along with administrative and operational duties. You are good in working with people at all levels and can build relationship with blue collar employees. You are an extrovert, approachable and confident person who can manage day to day employee issues. Prior experience of working in shipping, maritime, construction, engineering or manufacturing sector will be an added advantage. Willingness to work 5.5 days a week is a must. Resilience, confidence and attention to details will help you be successful in this role.
