Focussing on timely completion within cost and quality requirements, this is an opportunity to move from a pure delivery role into a project advisory role.
about the job
Reviewing each project that our client is undertaking, your role is critical to ensure that existing processes are efficient and comply with all statutory requirements. This will start by studying each project, looking at how you can improve the processes, developing a working document to capture improvements and be the main point of contact for all corporate fitting out works. As this role will work closely with various stakeholders, you do need to have strong communication skills to explain your concept and reasoning to your client. You do need to have a desire to improve processes, picking apart existing ones and developing a way to trim down or add steps where necessary to assist your project team to hit the trifecta of quality, cost and time requirements. Having completed several fitting out projects (ideally corporate interiors or financial institutions), you should be able to predict the likely issues that may crop up during the construction stage.
skills and experience required
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience having delivered commercial projects in Singapore; experience with financial institutions or large corporates will be beneficial owing to the nature of work.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to influence others
- Relevant qualifications in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related fields will be considered for this role.
