Our client is a global reputable MNC within the process automation industry servicing segments including petrochemical, energy and broader industrial. Currently, they are in search for a Regional Sales Lead to support their business within the Asia region. The successful candidate will be focused on driving sales within the region and ensuring alignment of regional sales teams to the global initiatives

about the job

In your role, you will be responsible for driving sales of automation project solutions in the region to ensure the company remains competitive in the market and grows profitably. The key markets covered will include Petrochemical, Oil & Gas and Energy Markets. Some of the core duties of the role include:

  • Drive growth in the region through direct selling approach, as well as identifying new partners and opportunities in the region.
  • Report directly and feedback to the Vice President of the APAC region on progress and resources needed to grow.
  • Attend industry trade shows to promote products, gain market intelligence, and find new partners and customers.
  • Travel (but not extensive) throughout the region to develop business opportunities in key countries outside of Singapore.
  • Grow and develop the organization to be more effective and capable to take on more challenging projects.
  • Align sales teams throughout region to ensure similar approach and structure throughout

skills and experience required

To qualify for the role, you will ideally have a:

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechatronics)
  • 8 years + of regional sales experience within the automation and energy industry is a MUST
  • Extensive network within key stakeholders within the Petrochemical and/or energy segments
  • Experience in Solution selling and understanding of cross-cultural selling throughout the region
