about the job

You would be an independent contributor based in Singapore, who would be the legal representative of the region, an advisor to the internal stakeholders and a reliable team member who is passionate about the work your organisation is doing and make a difference with your expertise! With your past legal and corporate experiences, you would bring to the role transferrable skill set and knowledge that equates to high quality legal advices to the business, excellent transactional execution, and the ability to recognise and mitigation legal risk. You would be handling a full spectrum of legal matters ranging from corporate commercial contracts management, procurement, employment, intellectual property, compliance and regulatory matters and other projects.

about the manager / team
You will report into the General Counsel who is based in Australia and work closely with counsels in the region. The organisation drives collaboration of teams in the region. The ideal team member that they are looking to hire is a mid level legal counsel who comes with the right commercial acumen and potential to join the team, with a clear career path of advancing you into a senior position in the future to coach junior team members in the region.

skills & experience required
This role requires you to come 5 to 8 years of practice and/or in-house legal experiences, ideally with regional exposure. You will be an excellent communicator who is able to relate to the business stakeholders, possesses strong influencing power and demonstrates ability to work independently and in teams.
