Our client is a global leader in manufacturing of cameras, musical instruments and timepieces for the consumer electronics industry. This well-recognised brand is looking for a Senior Service Engineer / Team Lead to lead the business in its next phase of growth.

about the job

As the Senior Service Engineer / Team Lead (FMCG), you will be responsible to:

  • Supervise a team of product repair technicians and monitor their repair service KPI
  • Conduct technical training to technicians, dealers and overseas distributors
  • Ensure the team delivers prompt & excellent service to customers
  • Monitor inventory levels and perform quality checks on repaired products

skills and experience required

To be successful in this position, you must have the ability to demonstrate or possess:

  • Degree / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent
  • Min 3 years experience in repair of timepieces or other consumer products e.g. watch / digital camera / projector / musical instruments will be a plus
  • Prior experience in product repair demonstrations or as a Technical Trainer to dealers & distributors is required for this position
  • Candidates with experience in a supervisory role or leading a team of product repair technicians or assistant engineers will be an added advantage
