- Lead and manage the logistics operations
- Plans for the department’s future needs and operations; counsels employees on performance
- Supervises and develops staff
- Process development and continuous improvement and managing total productivity.
- Responsible for meeting and exceeding customer metrics (cost, quality, Customer Service and Supplier Performance)
- Drive Lean Warehousing System
- Ensure safe work environment for all employees
- Responsible for the training & development and performance discussions with staff
skills & experience required
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Business Management / Engineering
- Min 8 years of experience with logistics operation in shipper (managing 3PL) / 3PL environment
- Candidate holding an assistant managerial position who is keen to step up, will be consider for the role
- Willing to be hands on with the day to day operation activities
- Experience in ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP
- Prior experience in managing an operations size of at least 50 personnel
- working knowledge of the following operations areas – domestic distribution, warehouse management, inventory planning, , transportation management and logistics execution systems
- Willing to work in western part of Singapore (Joo Koon / Boon Lay / Pioneer)
