My client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join their dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities in the Singapore and Philippines markets, focusing on clients within the BFSI and government sectors. This role requires a strong background in cybersecurity sales, a hunter mentality, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development: Identify and target potential clients in the BFSI and government sectors within Singapore and the Philippines. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders. Understand client needs and challenges, positioning my client’s cybersecurity solutions as the ideal fit to meet their requirements.
Proposal Development and Negotiation: Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals. Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and services.
Market Research and Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments in the cybersecurity space. Provide feedback and insights to the management team to refine sales strategies.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the technical and pre-sales teams to ensure a thorough understanding of the client's requirements and deliver customized cybersecurity solutions.
Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions in the CRM system. Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
skills and experience required
- Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in cybersecurity sales, with a proven track record of hunting and closing deals in the BFSI and government sectors.
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, products, and services, particularly in the BFSI and government sectors in Singapore and the Philippines.
- Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, build a pipeline, and close sales. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Customer Focus: Ability to understand client needs, build trust, and provide solutions that meet their security requirements.
- Self-Motivation: A self-starter with a hunter mentality, capable of working independently and taking the initiative to drive results.
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.
