A global developer and manufacturer for lifescience research and clinical diagnostics industry with over 5000 employees worldwide is looking for a local Account Manager in Singapore.

about the job

You will be responsible for the sales within the designated territory in Singapore. You will also ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved while at the same time, managing and growing the business in the given territory

You will be expected to develop business plan and sales strategy for assigned territory by driving growth in revenue and increase market share.

Apart from continuing business relations with existing customers, you will also be responsible for calling on prospective customers on a regular basis to covert them into clients for the company

about the manager/team

An individual contributor role, this position reports to the Sales Manager. You will have to work across multiple functions within the company such as supply chain, marketing and finance.

skills & experience required

You should possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences and a minimum 2 years of sales experience selling scientific research products.

Prior experience in managing life science academic research and/or clinical accounts will be extremely advantageous. Possessing a sales hunter mindset, you will demonstrate initiative and proactive approach in work.

You should possess strong analytical and organizational skills and must be able to spend a considerable amount of time visiting existing and prospective clients.
