about the job
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for month end closing and preparation of monthly management accounts. You will assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports and be responsible for bank reconciliations and weekly cash flow forecasts. You will review and prepare GST returns, including the necessary checks to ensure accuracy of the figures. There is a Shared Service team and you will be reviewing their work. You will also assist with the preparation of the statutory accounts for local submissions. You will ensure compliance of withholding tax, including computation and submission of the return. Additionally, budgeting and forecasting will also be part of your scope.
skills and experience required
You should possess a degree in accounting or finance with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Prior experience in the Big 4 is an advantage. Proficiency in Oracle will be an added bonus. You have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast paced, multi-task environment with a strong attention to detail.
