In this role, you'll not only broaden your skillset but also gain valuable insights into managing a fast-growing, entrepreneurial service line. As a pivotal member of our management team, your responsibilities encompass enhancing the client experience, providing technical support, fostering staff development, and ensuring overall team success. You'll oversee and support the delivery of accounting, payroll, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of international clients, while also taking responsibility for the seamless implementation of new clients.
Furthermore, you'll play a critical role in leading and mentoring a dedicated team of professionals, sharing your technical expertise to facilitate their growth and development. As the leader of this team, you'll take ownership of its service delivery and financial performance, contributing to its success.
In summary, your responsibilities will include ensuring that reports and advice remain timely and relevant by developing a deep understanding of your clients' businesses. You will guide your team in maintaining compliance with International Financial Standards and highlighting potential advisory and compliance issues. Effective planning of your team's work, coaching and continuous staff development, financial performance ownership, and adherence to firm quality and risk processes are also key aspects of this role. In addition, your involvement in client prospect meetings and the onboarding process, along with participation in ad-hoc projects as required by the Partner(s), rounds out your role.
skills and experience required
You should hold a Bachelor of Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification, possess a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, ideally within a professional services firm. A deep understanding of Singapore's compliance requirements, strong technical accounting knowledge in Singapore and International Financial Reporting Standards, excellent communication skills, organizational prowess, and a client-service focus, as well as an entrepreneurial and commercial mindset, are the qualities we're seeking in our ideal candidate.
