about the company Long standing history with a strong global presence, this international law firm has been growing organically in the region. With their new growth market to be in the APAC region, they are constantly hearing from their customers so that they can satisfy their customer needs to enhance organic growth. Currently, they need to hire a high calibre Accounting Specialist to help with the accounts in their APAC office. about the job Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for efficient maintenance and the processing of the accounts payable transactions. They also have to ensure that expenses are controlled and reconciling invoices are in accordance to the firm's policies and procedures. You will be checking the incoming receipts and giro payments, preparing the credit slips, payment vouchers, cheques and TT. You will also prepare, upload and post monthly general ledgers journals; the payments to the staffs when their claims have been approved. You will handle the petty cash payments, monthly top-up and costing of all matters related to payments. You will reconcile cash book balance to online balance, post entries for fixed deposit placement and withdrawals. You will also be involved in annual audit., skills and experience required
You should ideally possess at least a diploma in Finance and accounting with at least 5 years of experience working in a professional firm. You are able to handle high volume of transactions. You are meticulous, high organised and deadline driven. You are independent and able to multitask. You are tactful and have a strong ability to work effectively and professionally with all parties.
