Our client is a well-established company specialising in electrical distribution business for clients across various industries. They pride themselves for providing high quality solutions which are sustainable and socially responsible. With strong regional presence, they are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the finance team.

about the job

As the Accounts Assistant, you will report directly to the Finance Manager. You will be handling partial sets activities mainly in accounts payable, as well as supporting the accounts receivable and month end closing activities. You will also be monitoring account balances, tracking expenses and preparing analyses of accounts and related financial activity to produce monthly financial reports.

skills & experience required

You should ideally possess a diploma in accountancy with at least 1 year of working experience in the accounting function. Prior experience in handling full spectrum of accounts payable function is required and handling full set of accounts is ideal. Excellent communication skills and maturity to deal with different cultures and with all levels of staff are necessary.
