About the job
- Oversee the development and implementation of actuarial IFRS17 reporting processes for the business
- Ensure compliance with IFRS17 requirements, including development of actuarial models and methodologies to support reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and IT, to implement IFRS17 reporting requirements
- Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders related to IFRS17 reporting
- Analyze and assess the financial impact of IFRS17 on the business and make recommendations for risk management
- Keep up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry trends related to IFRS17 reporting to ensure compliance and best practices
- Develop and present clear and concise reports to senior management regarding IFRS17 reporting and related issues
Skills and experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Life Insurance actuarial modelling/valuation/reporting
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, VBA, and other relevant software tools
- Experience with actuarial software such as Prophet
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently on projects
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development
