about the job
You will be responsible for the daily management and maintenance of the company’s central filing storage system, including the creation, disposal and movement of physical and electronic records. You will be working with different departments to receive documents and ensure accurate and clear categorisation of records, whether in their off-site warehouse or in the system. This incumbent will be expected to perform shelving and sorting of documents, retrieve records physically stored in the warehouse, and guide internal stakeholders on how to navigate the records system whenever required. The tracking of budgets, processing of invoices, and participating in initiatives related to digital transformation projects, will also fall under your purview in this role.
about the manager/team
You will report directly to the Manager of the team and will be working with 4-5 other colleagues in the team.
skills and experience required
You should be tertiary educated and come with at least 2 years of experience in managing central documentation systems / archiving of records, preferably in the same industry. You will need to have a good eye for detail, be meticulous, as well as organised in your day to day work. As the role requires retrieval and movement of documents / boxes in the warehouse, you will need to be physically fit and comfortable with manual labour occasionally. Being a good team player, proficient in using IT applications (including Microsoft Office, Docusign, PowerBI, SAP), will help you succeed in this role.
