    My client is an established business consultancy founded in 2009. Having quadrupled in headcount over the last decade, they are constantly expanding their business, stretching their outreach across the continent of Europe and America. They are currently seeking to on board an Admin Support Assistant to provide administration to the Customer Support team in managing client accounts in the Japan market.

    about the job
    This role will require you to complete a broad variety of administrative tasks, interacting frequently with project’s correspondents in processing transactions and providing information in response to inquiries to ensure smooth business operations. Your job responsibilities include processing new client applications, preparing and verifying documentation to ensure data integrity and compliance to security policies, processing requests for information required by clients, monitoring client’s remittance status and account balance, maintaining accurate and complete information within the company’s database and supporting on invoicing matters, following up on payments as required.

    As this position supports the client accounts in Japan, you will be required to assist in the translation of documents on an ad hoc basis.

    about the manager/team
    The incumbent will be working with a team of 4 other administrative support assistants in supporting client requirements in the Japan market.

    skills and experience required
    You should be tertiary educated with prior experience in the field of administration. The ideal candidate should be an effective communicator, who is well able to interact with customers of different demographics. You should also possess the ability to interact with customers via emails and phone calls to achieve work responsibility and seek solutions to arising problems. In addition, agility in learning is important to adapt to new systems and knowledge. Japanese language ability is required for the role to service accounts of clients from the region of Japan who might not be proficient in english.
