    Our client is a global leader in consumer electronics such as lifestyle audio & visual electronics, connected car systems and products as well as enterprise automation solutions. They’re on the look out for an After Sales Support Specialist APAC to join their Operations team to coordinate and analyze quality issues for after sales service.

    about the job

    Reporting into the Quality Support and Customer Care Lead, you will:

    • Be the main driver for technical support within Asia Pacific
    • Be the first contact point for distributors to report product failure on the field
    • Work with Global Quality Team to investigate quality failure and related matters
    • Follow up on Failure Analysis Report with Global Quality Team
    • Maintain good working relationship with distributors’ service center to cross share technical and product knowledge
    • Analyze failure pattern from RMA for improvement of next generation product development
    • Periodical visits to distributors’ Service Center for RMA stock count, and contributing suggestions
    • Provide feedback on product quality to the Global Quality Team, which include attending Weekly Quality Improvement conference calls
    • Provide technical solutions through working closely with the Global Quality Team to enhance product knowledge and assist distributors’ service centers
    • Attend to reported events from Customer Service Centers and work closely with the legal team for follow up action

    job requirement

    • Degree/diploma in Electronics or related qualifications
    • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in electronic or audio industries
    • Proficiency in Microsoft (i.e. Word/Excel/Powerpoint) is a must (especially excel knowledge such as VLookup, Pivot Table)
    • Experienced and highly familiar with RMA and/or analyzing and reporting of product failure
