about the company

our client is a listed MNC in the retail industry with a strong presence globally, with Singapore their regional headquarters for APAC, they are hiring an AP Executive to join their exciting and vibrant accounting team. This is a 6 months contract role subject to extension.

about the job

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounts payable function including processing vendor invoices and making payments for assigned countries in the region, managing month-end closing and reconciliations, ensuring the necessary internal controls are in place, in relation to all payments and payable processes.

skills and experience required

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting relevant field
  • At least 3 year experience in Accounts Payable function preferably with regional experience
  • Working experience with SAP system
  • Positive attitude and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to start work immediately or within short notice
