about the job

As the subject matter expert and marketing leader, you will be responsible for the successful positioning, promotion and business development of Clinical Lab Automation System products within the Asia-Pacific region. As the central interface between customers, vendors, and various global and regional functions, you will drive product launches, generate demand, and establish customer loyalty across the Asia-Pacific region. You will:

  • Analyse different market requirements, and develop and communicate product value propositions accordingly
  • Lead pre-sales technical discussions, clearly illustrate product features and benefits, and effectively influence customers' purchasing preference
  • Investigate into laboratory workflow on customer site to identify needs and solutions
  • Lead solution implementations with clients, including IT software and hardware installation, system integration with LIMS, and user portal commissioning and testing
  • Support commercial team in identifying customer opportunities and determine the technical feasibility of customer requests
  • Continuously analyse market potential, competition, and foster relationships with KOLs and user forums
  • Manage 3rd party relationships with hardware and software vendors and ensure strong pre-sales and after-sales support from the vendors
  • Train, empower and enable the sales team on Automation & Informatics
  • Stay tuned with new technologies and suggest product improvements



skills & experience required

  • Degree or above in Bioinformatics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Biomedical Sciences
  • 5 years+ hands-on experience commissioning middleware solutions and system integration for hospital / laboratory / pharmaceutical sites
  • Understanding of laboratory workflow and regulatory requirements
  • Solid knowledge of Computer software and Network technologies such as SQL, HL7/ASTM, Windows Servers, Windows PC, MS Office, LAN, VLAN, WLAN, LIMS and TCP/IP networking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel for up to 60% of the time
