A global organisation in the real estate business that is rapidly expanding is looking for an APAC Technical Operations Development/Training Manager. This position would report directly to the Head of Learning and Development (L&D). This is a newly created position.

About the role

Do you have an engineering, technical, or operations background with a passion for developing people? You will be a key member responsible for developing the competency framework across APAC region and will be focused on developing and executing the technical competencies program.

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and supporting the training programs for our Technical and Engineering employees
  • Creating and implementing the technical competency framework across the APAC
  • You will partner the business to develop and implement training materials as well as with strategize and identify learning needs
  • Create, facilitate and oversee the delivery of a training curriculum
  • Implement regional strategic objectives and goals for the training curriculum
  • Identifies gaps in training curriculum and enhance the programs
  • Reviews any current training materials to ensure that it is relevant
  • Assists in the preparation of the APAC training budget
  • Use of e-learning tools for training
  • External vendor management

About you

You have come from a Technical/Engineering background with strong technical operations experience and a passion for developing people. You also have strong stakeholder management skills and have good commercial acumen.

You have good communications (written and verbal) who is independent and a good team player. It is advantageous if you have advanced level knowledge of computer software and hardware, (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite Products) and MS SharePoint.

You have a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil) or equivalent with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
