- Collaborate with Japan local transportation team and inventory management team
- Provide support for Foreign Trade and Compliance issues
- Report of trade compliance KPI’s, transactional review to determine areas of risk, development and maintenance of controlled process documentation, management of core trade compliance data
- Management of Customs record-keeping requirements where applicable, analyze and determine duty opportunities, draft responses to Customs government inquiries, and prepare analysis and material for review with supervisor on Customs legal reviews
- Support the corrective and preventative action (CAPA) process to identify order fulfillment gaps
skills & experience required
- Degree / Diploma in Business / Supply Chain / Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of in APAC international trade compliance
- Knowledge of economic sanctions, export control compliance, duty optimization, trade compliance and Free Trade Agreements
- Knowledge in SAP ERP, SAP Business GTS, Microsoft Office, Adobe acrobat
- LEAN or Six-sigma methodologies certified a plus
