    Established in 1965, my client is a leading international multipurpose port operator with presence in Singapore, China and Indonesia. Its operating expertise includes efficient handling of general, bulk and containerised cargo, management and operations of marine centres and terminals. With expansion plans, they are looking to hire a System Analyst to provide application/ system and maintenance support.

    about the job

    • Co-ordinate with vendors to ensure smooth system implementation.
    • Conduct requirement studies, detailed systems analysis and design, and systems testing of new systems and system enhancements.
    • Develop test specification and perform testing (Test Specialist Role).
    • Ensure changes to IT systems are delivered on schedule.
    • Conduct impact analysis on application changes
    • Analyze and troubleshoot application problem
    • Implement system software changes
    • To ensure the project is successfully delivered to meet user requirements.
    • Perform Business Analyst role to implement business process innovation and change

    skills and experience required

    • Degree in computer science, computer engineering or information technology.
    • Hands on experience in completing at least 1 full SDLC
    • Agile/Scrum Development Methodology
    • At least 5 years of software development in Java and J2EE technologies.
    • Hands on Oracle, MS-SQL and database experience.
    • Knowledge of the following skillset is preferred: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular, Bootstrap, TypeScript or equivalent
    • Backend development: J2EE / Backend Server side, Java 8/ 11, Spring Framework, Spring Boot (Micro Services)
    • Database / NoSQL: Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB
