Type - 12 months renewable contract
Salary - Up to 3500/month + completion bonus


about the job

For this Application Analyst role, the candidate would have to bridge IT with the business to achieve optimal efficiency in their operations by understanding and analyzing the business requirements, and providing them with custom/off-the-shelf software packages and applications to meet those needs. On top of that, the candidate would need to ensure that existing systems under his/her care are well maintained and business is able to operate efficiently with minimal or if possible, no downtime.

Key Responsibilities and Duties include

  • Supports software application, including troubleshooting, deployment, and maintenance. Manages all open issues and ongoing support activity to reduce customer wait time. Ensures that all support processes are streamlined for efficiency and meets the agreed KPIs set by the business and IT team
  • Understand business processes and application requirements from business (new or enhancement) and translate them into IT solutions, with standard supporting documents. Analyze feasibility and impact of various enhancements requests on existing configurations and work with various departments to streamline processes and resolve issues.
  • Be engaged in validation, verification, testing, planning, deployment, and discussions of various systems and application with global/regional IT teams
  • Create and/or update structured process supporting documentations, and provide end user or intradepartmental training or updates when necessary.
  • Analyze and Recommend improvements to our current support processes, standards and procedures, and work with Supervisor/Lead to improve them over time.
  • Assist in IT software assessments to ensure architecture alignment, security and sustainability of any applications developed by business before deployed into IT environment


skills and experience required

  • Minimum 3 months - 1 year of IT experience in Application Support scope
  • Technical:
    • Possess Application Development and Support background
    • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
    • Have good understanding in audit processes
    • Experience in software development lifecycle / methodology
    • Have knowledge or understanding of databases, operating systems, basic network configuration, IT hardware, and software

Additional Requirements:

  • Knowledge in DR, BCP and ITIL processes is good to have
  • Knowledge in programming e.g. C#, PHP, .NET is a plus, but not mandatory
This is a 1 year renewable contract role with attractive packages.
