Reporting to the Senior Manager, they are looking to hire an Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager to join the team. The incumbent will fulfill the role of a Project Manager, overseeing project budgets and the software development life cycle (SDLC) for assigned projects and change requests from initiation to closure.

- Collaborate with various stakeholders to collect business requirements and transform them into functional requirement specifications and/or procurement documentation.
- Conceptualize and propose technical solutions to align with the identified business needs.
- Coordinate with the Procurement team to initiate tender processes, assess proposals, and grant project tenders.
- Maintain close collaboration with vendors to ensure the successful delivery of software systems. Review and validate functional and technical documentation provided by vendors.
- Compose Test Specifications and carry out System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Deploy and implement software releases or facilitate their promotion to the production environment.
- Take the lead in managing a team of members.
- Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot systems effectively.
- Work in a team providing 24x7 system support (rotational basis - once every 5 to 6 weeks)
skills and experience required
- Minimally Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Minimally 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience as a Project Manager or Senior System Analyst, with experience in application/ system support and project/ stakeholder management.
- Experienced in a Unix/ Linux-based environment with hands-on experience in frameworks such as Angular and Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in various programming languages including Java, JavaScript, Angular, and Unix Shell Scripting, as well as competence in relational databases and SQL scripting (Oracle, SQL, MySQL).
- Familiarity with Agile Methodologies and Scrum, along with knowledge of software best practices like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI).
- Experienced in team management is ideal - open to candidates who are currently in a Senior Executive position and looking to move into a Team Lead position.
- Experience with technologies such as Tomcat, Active MQ, Kafka, SonarQube, and Azure Cloud is a plus.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a team supporting applications which run 24/7.
