Our client is a well known leader in the retail space and they are currently looking for an Assistant Accounting Manager to join them.

About the job

Reporting to the Finance Controller you will be leading a team and be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting activities. You will also be preparing monthly financial reports, annual financial statements, tax returns as well as supervising stocktake preparation, maintaining the general ledger in accounting software, ensuring timely supplier payments, and managing trade receivables. The business also has plans to look into improving process/systems as well as strengthen the finance team’s capabilities thus the ideal candidate is one who is strong technically and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and experience required

You should possess a recognised Degree in Accounting or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Background in consumer-related industries and system migration projects would be highly desirable.
