My client is an American multi-national consumer goods corporation and multinational manufacturer of product ranges including family, personal and household care products. They are seeking an Assistant Brand Manager who can speak fluent Japanese.

about the job

You will be achieving Brand goals through the development of key strategies and from the beginning you will have full ownership of the brand. As you expand your impact on the business, you will be getting involved in different projects and responsibilties as well as analyzing consumer research to develop key brand insights. You wil be defining and sustaining the Brand’s equity and developing winning concepts and copy strategies, this will include innovating on digital marketing at a global level.

The company will ensure they are constantly helping you improve your marketing knowledge and management abilities. You'll receive continuous coaching & mentorship and it will be made sure you receive both formal training and as regular mentorship from your manager and others.

skills and experience required

  • A college degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s, preferably with some business focus)
  • Proficiency in Japanese language and market knowledge of Japan as the role requires local consumer understanding to develop brand equity and marketing strategies for Japan Market.
  • Excellent visionary, strategic and courageous leadership skills
  • Strengths in strategic and analytical thinking
  • An ability to drive innovation and brand growth
