about the company My client is an international reputable steel producer. Currently they are seeking an assistant chatering & operations manager for their expansion. about the job
- Manage the nomination / acceptance of the performing vessel including compliance procedures
- Monitor the day-to-day operations of the chartered vessels including ETA notices, and cargo readiness
- Coordinate with agents for the arrival / departure formalities of the chartering vessels including berthing and un-berthing
- Monitor the day-to-day loading / discharging of the vessels
- Provide vessel’s arrival, berthing, loading / discharging, departure information to Chartering Manager
- Resolve charter party and bills of lading disputes
- Prepare laytime statements, and negotiate demurrage, detention and despatch
- Manage payment of freight, and demurrage / detention if any
skills & experience required
- Bachelor Degree / Diploma equivalent
- Min 3 years of relevant experiences with dry bulk cargoes
