about the job
Reporting directly into the CEO, they are looking for an Deputy Director / Director - Corporate Communications, based in Singapore.
- Overall responsible for media relations, public relations, internal / external communications, crisis management & event management for the firm.
- Manage interpersonal relations, top-level management communication and coordinate project setups and partner negotiations - both internally and externally
- Implement corporate advertising campaigns and be the key contact in steering external agencies (media and creative)
- develop, implement and manage communication approaches and plans to drive advocacy and behavioural change within the community
- identify and create media opportunities to profile the firms messages and news
skills and experience required
To be successful in this role, you should be a strong business partner equipped with the following skills and experience:-
- Degree in Business / Marketing / Mass Communications - At least 10 years relevant marketing and communications coming from both in house and agency experience within the B2C sectors
- Min. 5 years in a people management role prior
- Excellent knowledge in the field of brand management and marketing communication
- experience in the implementation of corporate advertising campaigns and steering of external agencies
- Deep knowledge in the field of media planning and digital communication as well as digital analytics and market research
- Knowledge in digital infrastructures, customer journey management
- Strong intercultural know-how, skills in relation to interpersonal relations, top-level management communication, coordination and negotiation - a key part of the role
