Reporting to the Director of Governance and HR, you will be responsible for curating and aligning effective Human Resources strategies, policies and programmes to the organization’s purpose and goals
- Oversee and manage the entire spectrum of HR Functions which includes recruitment, employee engagement and compensation & benefits
- Manage the recruitment, appointment and contract renewal process for all employees and faculty (e.g. candidates screening, interview arrangements, employee contract executions, employee pass applications etc.)
- Develop, review, monitor all policies, processes, systems, and other initiatives to stay dynamic and agile, meeting the business's and employees' evolving needs and priorities.
- Provide workforce planning and forecasting in alignment with the business on current and future requirements
- Review and recommend relevant enhancements to HR policies and procedures in line with industry best practices and EduTrust requirements
- Engage key stakeholders in the implementation of various HR policies as well as other initiatives, and provide advice to staff on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures as well as employment legislation
- Focus on people development and alignment of the team structure to enable and drive successful outcomes.
- Partners closely with the leadership team to ensure consistency and alignment of all HR initiatives and people strategies, including supporting employee and leadership development and developing succession plans for key positions and/or critical roles within the organization
- Oversee payroll & benefits administration
- Spearhead the organization’s Annual Performance Review and Salary Review & Promotion exercise and works closely with the relevant stakeholders
- Facilitate the annual performance appraisal and mid-year reviews for employees as well as annual faculty review exercise
- Support business line managers in organizing performance coaching sessions and career conversations with their staff
- Drive analysis and reporting of learning metrics to assess the impact of learning initiatives, leverage insights to make recommendations to enhance the employees’ learning experience
- Support day-to-day operations and ensure that all aspects of operations meet organizational goals
about the manager/team
You will be reporting to the Director of Governance and HR directly, and responsible for handling the full spectrum of HR functions which encompasses HR Policies and Procedures, Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement, Compensation and Benefits, Performance Appraisals and Employee Transition. This incumbent will be part of a dynamic team, which focuses on recruiting the best talent and executing exemplary talent management policies.
skills and experience required
To be a successful candidate, you should possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Business/ Human Resources or within areas of discipline, with at least 10 years of relevant HR experience, preferably from Educational Institutions or industry-leading organizations. Ideally, one should have strong knowledge in Employment Acts and Labour Law, with the ability to work and manage HR challenges/ projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
