    Our client is a well established organisation and manufacturer within the medical devices sector, headquartered in the U.S. They are known for their innovation portfolio of products and have over 5000 employees globally. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join their commercial office in Singapore that serves as the Asia regional HQ, managing the country offices across ASEAN markets.

    about the job
    Reporting directly into the Senior Asia Regional HR Director based in Hong Kong, you will business partner closely with the Head of Sales and Marketing and be responsible for all HR management and development for your assigned markets. In addition, you will:

    • Implement and maintain employee relations and human resources polices, programs, and practice; managing human resources policies to meet the organization’s needs
    • Support and coach managers on all people leadership matters, including business change and transformation
    • Lead the assessment the training needs of the organization through job analysis, career paths and consultation with manager
    • Design and recommend benefit programs to management, obtain and evaluate benefit contract bids, analyse benefit needs and trends
    • Manage talent acquisition strategy; including recruitment, advising mangers on candidate selection policy and practices, conducting and analyzing exit interviews and recommending changes
    • Establish and maintain appropriate HRIS and scorecard for measuring metrics that support the achievement of business goals, necessary aspect of HR development


    skills and experience required

    • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent
    • Minimum 5 years relevant HR experience, ideally with an international organisation / MNC
    • Strong knowledge with Asia employment laws and regulations
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate with employees of all levels
    • Independent, pro-active, good problem solving skills and ability to work with minimum supervision
    • Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office
    • Comfortable with light travelling responsibilities as required
