Our client is an established engineering company with presence in over 40 countries. Singapore is the headquarter and they are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join the team in supporting Singapore and Malaysia operations.
about the job
This role will report to the HR Manager based in Singapore. You will:
- Manage end-to-end HR activities including talent acquisition, onboarding and offboarding, performance management and payroll management
- Drive talent acquisition efforts and build a steady talent pipeline for the region
- Point of contact to employees and management for all HR matters
- Develop and implement HR policies and programmes in alignment to business objectives and local legislation
- Support other HR initiatives
skills and experience required
- Diploma / Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ of HR Generalist experience, with experience handling front line / blue collared employees
- Good in-house payroll experience, ideally knowledge of timesoft software
- Solid knowledge of local labor legislation and practices of Singapore
- Role is required to communicate with China office
