Constantly innovating to meet changing student needs and ensuring that their curriculum is competitive with other schools, they are now looking for an Assistant Manager for the Accounts Receivables team (AR) to help with the growing needs of the business.
about the job
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the financial accuracy and compliance of our educational programs.. Your duties also include verifying the accuracy and completeness of billing and collection transactions generated by the system, performing fee setup for student billing and claims, reviewing student claims and installment plans, and managing the disbursement of financial aids to students while efficiently processing refunds. Additionally, you will provide valuable financial advisory services and oversee student fee-related collections. As part of your responsibilities, you will prepare monthly and year-end audit schedules and reports, and collaborate with internal and external auditors, banks, and government agencies, including MOE and IRAS. You may also be assigned other ad-hoc duties as needed to support our financial operations.
about the manager/team
You will be working together in a team of 10 competent and proactive individuals in the AR team. They are strong team players and the workload will be split amongst everyone.
skills and experience required
You should be Diploma qualified in Accountancy/Finance and any CA/CPA/ACCA qualification will be advantageous. You have to possess at least 3 years of working experience in accounts-related work and you ideally should have worked in a school before. You should have a good learning attitude, organised and meticulous in nature and be a good team player. It is not necessary to have held leadership positions in the past..
