    About the Company

    Our client is an iconic and reputable organization within the FMCG / Beverages industry. They are well established within the market to be a premium Global F&B player and they are looking to hire a Corporate Communications individual to join their team.

    About the Role

    Reporting directly into the Corporate Affairs Manager, they are looking for an Assistant Manager, Corporate Affairs to be based in Singapore.

    Overseeing 3 main areas :

    • Sustainability / CSR initiatives & Corporate Affairs (75% job weightage)
    • Govt Affairs Communications 20%
    • Health & Safety 5%

    Public & Corporate Affairs

    Support the Corporate Affairs Manager in industry engagements.

    • Participating in initiatives to drive engagement with government officials, associations, industry leaders and consumers;
    • Supporting discussions/work with other stakeholders e.g French Chamber of Commerce, US-ASEAN Business Council;
    • Internal communications include communications from Asia/HQ on brand activities, strategic plans and workshops/trainings;
    • Helping to support the convivial culture of the company by introducing fun team-bonding activities; and
    • External communications include reviewing press/media releases and monitoring/ensuring the integrity of the company’s corporate image;

    Health & Safety

    • Being a key member of the Company’s Health & Safety Committee;
    • Developing Health & Safety awareness trainings for employees; and
    • Helping to promote physical and mental well-being of employees in the company;

    Sustainability / CSR initiatives

    • Coordinating the annual plan reporting for CSR related initiatives & ensuring compliance with commitments to NEA;
    • Development on resource and waste management issues in Singapore
    • Review of POS materials by Marketing in compliance with Public Relations guidelines and Working with Asia/HQ on trainings for employees and developing internal initiatives to build awareness on the company’s Sustainability & Responsibility goals and commitments;

    skills and experience required

    To be successful in this role, you should be a strong business partner equipped with the following skills and experience:-

    • Degree in Business / Marketing / Mass Communications
    • Excellent Communication skills - Verbal & Written
    • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in Communications, Public Affairs or
    • CSR/Sustainability;
    • Strong presentation skills and able to lead presentations to employees and management;
    • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially MS Powerpoint;
    • Ability to multitask; detailed oriented and organized;
    • Someone, creative, willing to learn, fun spirit and with good interpersonal skills;
