Our client is an Iconic Brand within the F&B sector that employs more that 5000 people globally. Renowned internationally for being one of the change agents within their business, they are looking for an Assistant Manager – Corporate Communications & Public Relations to play an essential and proactive role in promoting and enhancing the overall reputation of the groups business from a regional standpoint.

about the job

Reporting directly into the Director – Corporate Communications / Marketing, they are looking for a Assistant Manager / Senior Manager - Corporate Communications & Public Relations based in Singapore.

1. Corporate Communications, Media/Stakeholders Relations

  • Have the flair for language – to assist in drafting press releases, thought leadership pieces and keynote presentations for the Senior Stakeholders.
  • Manage local and overseas media enquiries, assess interview requests and escalate to Group VP when deemed required.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders internally such as Finance, HR and other divisions for corporate reporting projects (e.g. Annual Report and Sustainability Reports)
  • Partner Group Finance, Group HR and Divisions for corporate communication project needs. Eg. Annual Report, Sustainability Report

2. Risk Management & Crisis Communication


  • Crisis Communication & Issue Management workflows: work with Group VP and China Senior Manager to fine-tune and manage crisis communication processes and improve on policies for cross territorial sharing across the Group.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Maintain and grow media network and formulate key CSR partnerships with government agencies and NGOs.

3. CSR & Corporate & Social Responsibility & Sustainability


  • Work with existing CSR partners to plan and design Group CSR activities to increase employee volunteerism across all employees.
  • Discuss and identify new CSR partners that the Group can work with; to maximise mileage for CSR efforts

skills and experience required

To be successful in this role, you should be a collaborative Senior Executive equipped with the following skills and experience:

  • Degree in Business / Marketing / Mass Communications / equivalent - At least 2-6 years relevant corporate affairs and communications coming from both in house and agency experience within B2C / FMCG sector / Retail industry
  • Excellent knowledge corporate communications and having worked within Public Relations agencies
  • Good understanding of how businesses operate in Asia, preferably in F&B or lifestyle brands
