In this position as an Reinsurance Specialist, you will be reporting to the HOD and work alongside with a small team. You will be expected to assist in the management and implementation of Reinsurance Policy and Framework, providing support analysis and design of reinsurance programmes for the Company. The ideal incumbent is expected to participate in the negotiation and placement of reinsurance programmes, review/analyse treaty data/statistics and manage business relationships with reinsurers and cedents.

You will support the reconciliation of reinsurance balances with reinsurers/cedents and be involved in monitoring of Company’s treaty exposures in various territories - with focus on ASEAN and Middle Eastern region.

skills & experience required

• 5+ years of relevant experience in non-life insurance sector - ideally in reinsurance focus Candidates with both underwriting or claims background are welcome to apply
• Experience in dealing with international reinsurance market
• Familiar with all lines of business and reinsurance framework Fast learner and ability to work well under pressure
