You will be a part of the IFRS17 reporting team, supporting the head of finance in the parallel run for IFRS17 reporting. You will be involved in the analysis of business results from the IFRS17 reporting systems, support the development of disclosures notes and accounting policies. You will prepare and review profit & loss and balance sheet reconciliations. You will work closely with external auditors and consultants in the preparation of documents and walkthroughs for IFRS17 to facilitate a smooth go-live of IFRS17.
Skills and experience required
Degree in Accountancy or Finance, or any professional accounting qualifications, with at least 4 years of relevant working experience, with good knowledge of financial reporting standards in the insurance industry. In order to succeed, you should possess strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Big 4 insurance auditors should apply.
