They are looking for an Assistant Manager/Manager for their IT team.


about the job

In this role, you're required to report to the Area Director of Information Technology & Business Innovation

Your responsibilities:

  • Manages and leads the Information Technology team supporting both the end-users and Hotel guests Oversee and manage the Hotels’ data center
  • Oversee and manages the Hotels’ applications & systems
  • Develops, establishes, implements and maintains operating policies, standards and approaches for the Hotels Establishes and administers Hotels’ IT Budget, capital plans, expenses, requisition, control and accountability
  • Administrating Helpdesk tickets via Corporate Portal Helpdesk Support Suite
  • Responsible in maintaining network infrastructure stability, security, hardware equipment, system installation and troubleshooting
  • Evaluates & assesses needs and priorities for Hotels’ operation, maintenance, enhancement and growth
  • Contracts negotiation and administration.
  • Reviews bids and proposals. Administers the implementation of new and revised/ upgraded systems. Oversees the developments, design and implementation of new applications and changes to existing computer systems and software packages
  • Responsible for the development and review of all back-up and disaster procedures and plans
  • Leads project team in system evaluation on the design, proposal and implementation of application systems for the Hotel.
  • Maintains and updates application-related procedures in the department to satisfy audit concerns, including regular review of relevant documentation

skills and experience required

  • Min Diploma / Degree in Computer Science/MIS/related discipline or equivalent
  • Min 6 years’ experience in the hospitality industry
  • Managerial or Team Lead experience preferred
  • A team player and able to work closely with colleagues
  • Good problem solver with a positive work attitude, follow-up skills and able to work independently
  • Hotel/Hospitality industry experience is preferred
