about the company

Our client is a global leading manufacturer of specialty chemicals. With continued successes both within Singapore and internationally, they are looking for an Assistant Production Manager to join their dynamic team.


about the job

As the Assistant Production Manager (Chemical / Petrochemical), you will be responsible to:

  • Assist the Production Manager to direct and supervise day-to-day production operations
  • Provide support in improvement & EHS activities to reduce costs and improve quality
  • Take charge of hiring and training of process technicians to ensure efficient workforce


skills and experience required

To be successful in this position, you must have the ability to demonstrate or possess:

  • Min Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
  • Min 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in Chemical / Petrochemical industry
  • Currently managing a team of at least 30 Shift Process Technicians & Team Leaders
