Our client is an industry leader in developing and supplying PVC and semiconductor silicon products to companies in the consumer electronics, semiconductor, automotive, electronic component markets globally. Due to business expansion needs and increasing customer demand, this company is now looking for an Assistant Service Engineer to join their dynamic and motivated team.
about the job
- Perform nitrogen purge equipment installation, testing and commissioning to customers in semiconductor fabs
- Provide maintenance and service when required.
- Responsible for equipment performance to meet specification criteria.
- Support overseas installation projects occasionally and provide technical consultancy for equipment issues remotely or on site when required.
job requirement
- Diploma or equivalent in engineering yield.
- Minimum 3 years’ work experience in semiconductor fabs doing equipment installation, maintenance and troubleshoot work.
- Occasional traveling to be expected (must be willing to travel occasionally)
- Familiarity with network and IT knowledge related to fab automation systems will be an added advantage.
- Able to work independently
