about the role
- Responsible for month-end closing activities
- Ensure financial records are maintained accurately
- Prepare fixed assets listing
- Prepare and/or review MAS and Head Office reports
- Assist with statutory reporting which includes annual audits, preparation of financial statements and tax computation
- Assist with general ledger maintenance to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Tax reporting and analysis which includes preparation of GST returns
- Process payments for all invoices, staff claims and vendor expenses
- Participate in Finance projects as assigned
skills and experience required
- Minimum Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- At least 3 years of Finance experience within the Banking industry, or External Audit experience for Financial Services clients
- Good communications and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous and analytical
