about the team

You will be part of the CIB Governance & Program Management APAC Regulatory Reporting team and participate in a global Regulatory Strategy initiative. You will be undertaking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) role to the APAC regulatory reporting project.

It is an excellent opportunity to develop an appreciation of the regulatory banking regime within Banking in Asia, as well as develop project management skillset.

about the role

This is a 12 months contract role.

  • Partner closely with Finance and Technology business units to deliver into these strategic regulatory reporting solutions
  • Define project scope, timeline, role and responsibilities, project governance and risks if any
  • Gather and draft business requirements and agree on acceptance criteria
  • Perform data validation and analysis, identify gaps and provide impact analysis
  • Perform Product Validation, in partnership with key stakeholders and external vendors
  • Identify areas of improvements and brainstorm solutions to improve processes
  • Participate, guide and support Finance and Technology stakeholders throughout the delivery, testing and implementation phase
  • Manages ongoing strategic finance platform enhancements and automation

skills and experience required:

  • Minimum Degree in a relevant discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience within business regulatory reporting and/or audit
  • Experience in Malaysia and Singapore BASEL as well as local regulatory automation is a plus
  • Demonstrated project management experience is an advantage
  • Strong communications and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
