Reviewing each project that our client is undertaking, your role is critical to ensure that existing processes are efficient and comply with the legal requirements. This will start by studying each project, looking into how you can improve the processes, develop a working document to capture lessons learnt and be the main repository for all corporate fitting out works for the organization. As this role will work closely with various stakeholders, you do need to have strong communication skills to explain your concepts to your clients. You do need to have a desire to improve processes, picking apart existing ones and developing a way to trim down or add steps where necessary to assist your project team to hit the trifecta of quality, cost and time requirements. Having completed several fitting out project (ideally financial institutions), you should be able to predict the likely issues that may crop up during the construction stage. Working directly with stakeholders on the client side, you will drive the delivery of projects specifically in the commercial space. These projects are a combination of restacks, major A&A works, consolidation and asset enhancement initiatives. Your experience in planning ahead and anticipating project risks are important to steer the successful completion of projects under your care.

skills and experience required

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience having delivered commercial projects in this region – if you have experience working on spaces beyond 100,000sqft, you will be have a high level of success of securing this position.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate others
  • Relevant qualifications in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Building or related fields will be considered for this role.
