about the job
Assist company in complying with and meeting all regulatory requirements by MOM, Workplace Safety and Health Act.
Manage and conduct training, education, and campaign for promoting EHS awareness.
To improve and sustain Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety standards for the company.
Coordinate with government bodies and other parties on matters relating to EHS.
To track and monitor health and safety performance, notify non-conformances and implement corrective action and meet the EHS Management System (ISO14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 system) requirement.
Conduct/Schedule EHS site audit/inspection.
Advise company project coordinator in managing contractors, and ensure all activities are in compliance with the company’s EHS policies, and regulatory requirements before and during the work in progress.
Investigate incidents and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
skills & experience required
Diploma in Environment, Health & Safety/Environmental Engineering or other related Engineering discipline
Training provided for non experience candidates.
Good understanding of managing contractors in terms of EHS will have an advantage.
Familiar with Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, Safe work procedures, Root Cause Analysis will have an advantage.
